The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded $404.5 million in combined indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to six companies for a range of services in support of the telecommunication and network infrastructure at service branch locations.
The IDIQ could reach $809 million over a 10-year period if all contract options are exercised and work in Marine Corps continental U.S. and outside continental U.S. installations and detachments is completed by May 2034, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The contractors will perform engineering, furnishing, installation, security, test and operations of refreshed and modernized network capabilities at service branch bases, posts, camps and stations.

Spectrum Solutions
Marine Corps Systems Command, the contracting activity, conducted an online competitive procurement for the firm-fixed-price contract and received 17 bids.
It will obligate the Marine Corps’ fiscal 2024 procurement funding in the amount of $3.7 million at the time of the award.
