The U.S. Navy has begun seeking proposals for a potential $200 million small business set-aside contract to build, repair and renovate government installations at the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest area of responsibility.
The multiple-award construction contract has a two-year base period with three option years and covers new construction, renovation and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning projects at government-owned facilities in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico, according to a notice posted on Monday on SAM.gov.
Projects may include boiler and chiller plants; digital direct controls or energy management control system; heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment energy optimization; distribution systems; energy supply; other HVAC systems and equipment; and system testing and balancing.
The government anticipates awarding three or more indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity construction contracts under the MACC.
Interested parties have until May 23 to respond to the solicitation.
