CBP Eyes Recompete Contract Award for Human Resources IT Services

The Department of Homeland Security is planning to release a request for proposals for a recompete contract covering human resources information technology services for Customs and Border Protection.

The recompete contract with an estimated value of over $100 million will cover technology architecture, development, implementation, governance, compliance and maintenance of cloud-based HR IT tools that support the CBP Office of Human Resources Management’s administrative system and application modernization initiatives, according to a notice posted on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System.

CBP HRM requires operations and sustainment of cloud-based tools; data transformation and analytics support; and project management, deployment and change management support services.

DHS plans to award the contract under the Chief Information Officer—Solutions and Partners 3 Small Business indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The department expects to release the final solicitation for the contract in April, with the award anticipated in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024.
