Mark Hopkins, formerly senior director of business development and strategic capture at Electrosoft, has been promoted to chief growth officer at the Reston, Virginia-based information technology company.
He will be responsible for monitoring market and trend analysis, pursuing new growth opportunities, strengthening strategic partnerships and providing leadership support to cross-functional teams executing the company’s growth strategies, Electrosoft said Tuesday.
“Mark has already made a positive impact at Electrosoft and it is clear that he has the experience to support our approaching transition from a small business to the full and open market,” said Sarbari Gupta, CEO of Electrosoft.
Hopkins has over 30 years of business development experience, taking on leadership roles at companies including ECCO Select, AT&T Government Solutions and Janya.
Before joining Electrosoft, he was vice president of business development and strategic capture for the defense sector at DirectViz Solutions.
