The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate has begun seeking proposals for a potential $300 million contract to procure software, hardware and reports for virtualization and remote access.
The Engineering for Virtualized Enterprise and Remote Access Technology program covers software research and development, integration, deployment, testing, integration, sustainment and training of systems for virtual desktop and mobile platforms, according to a notice posted Tuesday on SAM.gov.
The selected vendor will research, develop, sustain and deploy AFRL’s SecureView cross-domain software architecture along with next-generation capabilities.
EVEREST is a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity procurement vehicle with an ordering period of five years.
Interested parties have until Feb. 5 to respond to the request for proposals.
