George Franz of Accenture Federal Services Named 4×24 Cyber Group Chair at Executive Mosaic

Retired U.S. Army Major General and Accenture Federal Services Managing Director George Franz has been appointed chair of the Cyber Group within Executive Mosaic’s 4×24 Leadership Series.

The 4×24 program is a connective force in the government contracting industry, weaving an executive-level fabric between senior members of over 200 companies across the U.S. It is built around a refined, congenial dinner series where both lasting professional connections and project developments are known to be made. Candid addresses from notable federal figures are the centerpiece of the dinners, cultivating a focus on public-private partnerships. “I am honored to chair the Cyber Group at Executive Mosaic. Given the increasing number of cybersecurity threats to national critical infrastructure, it is more essential than ever that industry, academia and government work in partnership to preserve our national security,” Franz offered. “I look forward to candid and open discussions on a wide range of topics, including the increasing convergence of physical security and information security, which is now essential for federal agency risk management.”

Franz was a well-established military and government official before transitioning to the commercial side. In addition to his nearly four decades of service as an Army intelligence officer, he was deputy director of operations for J-3 at U.S. Cyber Command, director and commanding general of Cyber National Missions Force and director of operations at U.S. Cyber Command. The immense experience and practice in the cyber arena makes him a clear choice to head up 4×24’s Cyber Group and facilitate dialogues about the ever-important issue of protecting digital assets and maintaining a secure and robust cyberspace.

‘Within the constantly evolving landscape of federal cyber dynamics, it’s crucial to have knowledgeable leaders at the helm. At Executive Mosaic, we proudly champion George as the head of our senior executive cyber peer group,” stated Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the 4×24 program.

“His profound insights, unmatched public sector experience and consistent successes in cyber are a testament to his capabilities. George truly embodies the essence of cyber leadership, and we’re confident in the transformative impact he will bring through his leadership in this program,” Garrettson added.

4×24 is excited to watch Franz flourish in this role and help foster many unexpected yet lasting connections. If you want to be considered to join the Cyber Group at 4×24 or one of its other subject matter-centered divisions, contact info@executivemosaic.com or navigate here.
