Turner will be responsible for managing Second Front’s business unit focused on serving U.S. and international government customers, driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships and advancing the company’s go-to-market strategy for the global public sector, the company said Friday.
His 22-year career includes time at the U.S. Air National Guard and the National Reconnaissance Office, where he led research, development and procurement of advanced reconnaissance platforms, and at Amazon Web Services, where he spearheaded cloud adoption and sales execution efforts.
“[Turner’s] deep understanding of complex government environments and his extensive experience in the public and private sectors uniquely position him to guide our global public sector initiatives,” said Tyler Sweatt, CEO of Second Front Systems.
Turner’s appointment comes as Second Front moves to broaden its presence in the international public sector community and aligns its government-accredited DevSecOps platform and cloud hosting environment, Game Warden, with the requirements of various public sector markets.
Second Front Systems is a venture-backed company founded by former U.S. Marines and works to accelerate government access to software-as-a-service applications in support of national security missions.
