CACI Receives $414M Air Force Software, System Engineering Task Order

CACI International‘s (NYSE: CACI) federal arm has received a five-year, $414 million task order to engineer software and systems supporting the U.S. Air Force’s functional and mission requirements.

The company will help the Air Force Research Laboratory explore information processing tools for battlespace awareness and decision-making applications, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Work will occur in Virginia, Nebraska and Virginia through Aug. 17, 2028.

AFRL received one proposal for the cost-plus-fixed-fee order and is obligating $2.3 million on the award with fiscal 2023 funds.

The Air Force will use its fiscal 2023 budget for research, development, test and evaluation, procurement and operations and maintenance. to cover the obligated amount.
