Tamim Aslamy Appointed CFO at RTX Subsidiary Solipsys

Tamim Aslamy, a more than two-decade defense market veteran, has assumed the chief financial officer role at Raytheon Solipsys, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) subsidiary focused on developing command and control platforms for military and homeland security use.

He announced his new role in a LinkedIn post Monday and comes to Solipsys from RTX, where he served as a senior finance manager for nearly four years. Raytheon Technologies recently adopted the “RTX” name as part of an ongoing portfolio realignment initiative.

In his previous capacity, Aslamy oversaw the financial aspects of the company’s Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle contract valued at nearly $2 billion and managed a portfolio of projects and engineering change proposals under the program.

The Colorado State University graduate previously held an 18-year career at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
