David Cade, a 14-year Boeing (NYSE: BA) veteran who formerly served as vice president of corporate contracts, has assumed a new role as VP of supply chain core contracting within the company’s defense, space and security division, according to a LinkedIn post.
He led the aerospace and defense company’s contracting work encompassing policies, strategies, training, procedures, consulting and compliance areas.
His prior responsibilities included oversight of contracts, pricing, estimating and procurement financial analysis, and risk and supplier management functions under the BDS organization.
Cade joined Boeing in September 2008 as a counsel after nearly a decade of service as attorney of General Motors (NYSE: GM).
Prior to General Motors, he held the same role at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn.
