General Dynamics IT Unit Secures $380M in EPA Support Contracts

A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit has booked a pair of contracts worth $380 million combined to provide technical support and other services to the Environmental Protection Agency.

General Dynamics Information Technology will support EPA’s Superfund cleanup program under a potential eight-year, $195 million contract and help the agency secure water and wastewater management systems under a five-year, $185 million award, the company said Wednesday.

GDIT will provide assistance to the EPA Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation in analytical chemistry, technical, scientific and IT operations.

The business will also help the EPA Water Infrastructure and Cyber Resilience Division in cyber resilience-building efforts.

Darby Chellis Bade, vice president for EPA programs and climate initiatives at GDIT, said the company has assisted the agency in efforts to protect public health in communities nationwide for more than four decades.

“This work inspires our scientists and IT professionals who are passionate about protecting our environment and enhancing climate resilience for current and future generations.”
