V2X (NYSE: VVX) will continue providing logistics support services at Fort Benning in Georgia under a $265 million contract modification awarded as part of the Enhanced Army Global Logistic Enterprise program.
The U.S. Army obligated $16.3 million in fiscal 2023 operation and maintenance funds at the time of the award and expects work to be completed by Dec. 10, 2023, the Department of Defense said Friday.
In February 2022, the then Vectrus company received a $250 million EAGLE task order. It covers logistics support work at the military base and includes options that, if exercised, would extend services through December 2026.
EAGLE is a contract vehicle that is used to acquire supply, maintenance and transportation services in support of Army installations or joint bases. Its first task order was made in 2013 and according to the Army Acquisition Support Center, 30 task orders totaling $1.8 billion were awarded to date.
