Former Maximus Exec Catalina Murillo Appointed Intelligent Waves Chief People Officer

Catalina Murillo, formerly a senior vice president within Maximus‘ (NYSE: MMS) global human resources organization, has been appointed chief people officer at Intelligent Waves.

She joins IW with nearly three decades of work experience in multiple industries and will oversee the company’s HR strategy in her new position, the Reston, Virginia-based information technology integrator said Wednesday.

Murillo previously spent more than 14 years at Maximus, where she initially worked as a segment HR director and was then elevated to the VP and SVP ranks.

After her career with Maximus, she worked at health IT consultancy AM as chief HR officer.

“Catalina will strategically focus on expanding our positive culture of impact and scaling our strong mission-oriented community,” said Tony Crescenzo, CEO of Intelligent Waves.
