Navy Seeks Proposals for $230M Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul & Logistics Support IDIQ

The U.S. Navy has issued a request for proposals for a potential three-year, $230 million contract to provide maintenance, repair, overhaul and logistics services for the military branch’s Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equipment.

The service’s Commander Fleet Readiness Center plans to compete the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for MROL support services as a set-aside program for 8(a)-certified small businesses and intends to award the single-source contract by the third quarter of fiscal year 2023, according to a solicitation notice published Thursday.

Work under the IDIQ contract includes modernization, in-service repair, disassembly and conversion support; expedited requisition services; development of cost and material estimates; and assessment of technical publications, technical drawing packages, detailed schematics and military and federal specifications, according to the statement of work.

Amentum, Bowhead Base Operations and LTM are the incumbent contractors on the existing contract.

The Navy will accept industry questions regarding the RFP through Nov. 15.

Proposals are due Dec. 5.
