Lockheed Lands $765M IDIQ Award for F-35 Site Activation, Sustainment Services

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will help military customers activate F-35 sites and conduct initial aircraft sustainment efforts under a two-year, $765.1 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Systems Command.

The award covers the provision of pilot flight equipment, post-ejection survival training material and other related systems and services in support of the first aircraft arrival and initial and full operational capability milestones of all three F-35 variants, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Lockheed will perform the work for the U.S. Air Force, the Navy, the Marine Corps, non-DOD participants and foreign military sales clients.

Fifty-two percent of contract services will occur in El Segundo, California, and the remaining 48 percent will take place in Florida, Texas and the U.K.
