In a LinkedIn post, Pelham shared he took on the new role after serving as senior director of business development and strategy at the Leidos Innovation Center, which researches and develops next-generation products in areas such as artificial intelligence, autonomy, directed energy and big data.
He previously directed strategic development for the autonomy control and estimation technology product line at BAE Systems‘ FAST Labs organization.
Pelham served in the U.S. Army before he joined the private sector in late 2018. His military career included leadership roles such as program analysis branch chief within the branch’s Program Analysis and Evaluation Directorate, a deputy district commander at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a battalion operations officer in the 82nd Airborne Division.
