Gunnison Subsidiary to Help Secure Library of Congress Information Systems

Centerpoint, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gunnison Consulting Group, will provide cybersecurity support services to the Library of Congress Information System Security Officer under a potential five-year, $23 million contract.

Ed Silva, chief strategy officer of Gunnison, said in a statement released Wednesday the award marks the first joint submission and win of the combined organization.

Fairfax, Virginia-based Gunnison acquired the cybersecurity platforms provider in February as part of federal information technology market push.

The single-award contract has a base performance period of six months and four one-year option periods.

“We appreciate the critical nature of this contract and our role in supporting the organization’s mission to protect IT systems and data, including the IT aspects of the collection, without impairing the Library’s ability to provide information to the Congress and the American people,” said Sean Fromm, senior vice president of Gunnison’s national security division.
