Gunnison Consulting Group has acquired cybersecurity platforms provider Centerpoint for an undisclosed sum to expand information technology service offerings for the federal government.

Gunnison CEO Gil Dussek said in a statement released Thursday the transaction adds cybersecurity skills to the company’s portfolio and the combined organization aims to help customers address IT modernization challenges.

Ed Silva, co-founder and co-CEO of Centerpoint, will join Gunnison as chief strategy officer and Tony Ambegaoker, chief operating officer and chief technology officer of Centerpoint, will serve as chief information and innovation officer as a result of the acquisition.
