Unison Grows Software Portfolio for Government Clients Through Plan4 Healthcare Acquisition

Dulles, Virginia-based software company Unison has acquired Plan4 Healthcare, whose business planning and budget management platform is being used at the Veterans Health Administration’s primary medical centers and facilities.

Unison said Wednesday it looks to add the 4Cast software-as-a-service offering to the company’s Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting platform for government customers.

“This acquisition marks a milestone in service to the federal budgeting marketplace and our support of program, budget, and finance personnel across the federal government,” said Unison CEO Reid Jackson.

Plan4 secured contracts from the Department of Veterans Affairs to manage license arrangements for the 4Cast budget formulation and monitoring tool at VHA-run hospitals.

According to Unison, its software products are designed to work in both cloud and on-premise information technology environments and support more than 200,000 customers in the government and contracting sectors.
