USACE Awards $500M Remediation, Environmental Services Contract to 5 Companies

Five companies will compete for task orders to help the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers carry out remediation and environmental projects at international locations under a cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract worth potentially $500 million.

USACE’s Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama, received eight bids for the procurement effort and will determine funds and work performance locations with each order, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The agency expects contract services to be complete by Feb. 15, 2028.

The awardees are:

  • AECOM (NYSE: ACM)
  • Global Environmental & Munition Services
  • Janus Global Operations, an Acuity International company
  • Relyant Global
  • Tetra Tech (Nasdaq: TTEK)
