Charles Pope, formerly a senior official at the U.S. Agency for International Development, has joined Precision Talent Solutions as a C-level executive responsible for the management of aid and development opportunities in overseas markets.
The new chief international development officer will also use his knowledge in capabilities assessment, proposal development, business mobilization and compliance gained from years-long experience to support customers in their respective efforts, the company said.
Pope spent more than 15 years at USAID, most recently serving as its senior regional adviser for the Middle East. In the said role, he was tasked to build mission and personnel networks in the region to help address acquisition and assistance issues. Earlier, he was a coordinator for the agency’s A&A Lab in Central and South Asia.
His experience also includes time with the Boy Scouts of America working as commissioner for South Asia and India.
