Navy Issues RFP for $99M Meteorology & Oceanography IT Contract

Naval Supply Systems Command has put out a request for proposals for a five-year, $98.7 million contract to support and secure an enterprise information technology infrastructure for the U.S. Navy’s meteorology and oceanography programs. Interested vendors can submit offers until Feb. 23, according to a solicitation notice posted on SAM.gov.

The RFP document posted on SAM.gov says the service branch is seeking a contractor to provide a range of IT services to Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi and NAVMETOCCOM’s Echelon IV organizations.

NAVMETOCCOM personnel collect, analyze and disseminate ocean and littoral data to the country’s military and civilian agencies as well as customers at the national and international levels.

Services listed in the solicitation notice include information assurance, configuration and customer interface management, life cycle and engineering support, system administration, integration and sustainment.

NAVSUP will accept offers from interested vendors until Feb. 23.
