Intrepid Appoints Jeff Green, David Shackleton to Leadership Roles After Darkblade Purchase

Intrepid Solutions and Services has appointed Jeff Green, former partner and co-owner of its newly acquired company Darkblade Systems, as an executive vice president and a member of the board of directors at Intrepid and has promoted David Shackleton to vice president of programs.

Intrepid said Wednesday it made the appointments as part of the integration of Darkblade into the Herndon, Virginia-based technology and professional services provider following its acquisition in July 2021.

Green led Darkblade’s growth strategy and research and development projects over the past year years. He is a 23-year military veteran who previously served in the U.S. Air Force and New York Air National Guard.

Shackleton, who has two decades of military experience, worked in program management roles at CGI, Harmonia and Buchanan & Edwards.

Ryan Hebert, CEO of Intrepid, said the Darkblade purchase helped Intrepid grow capabilities in the areas of unmanned aircraft systems and counter-unmanned aircraft systems, cybersecurity, signal intelligence and electronic warfare.
