Army Vet Peter Gallagher Takes SVP Role at CACI; Todd Probert Quoted

Peter Gallagher, a retired U.S. Army major general and former director of the Army Futures Command’s Network Cross-Functional Team, has joined CACI International (NYSE: CACI) as a senior vice president in charge of the company’s national security technology offerings.

He will be the principal adviser to Todd Probert, president of CACI’s national security and innovative solutions sector, and be responsible for the segment’s integration strategy, the company said Monday.

Probert, a 2021 Wash 100 Award recipient, said Gallagher brings defense mission and special operations experience as the company aims to introduce software-based technology “to enhance, connect and secure critical systems for our customers.

Gallagher spent 35 years in the Army and held leadership posts within the Defense Information Services Agency, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and combatant commands. 

He served as head of Network Enterprise Technology Command and as chief information officer at U.S. Central Command.
