Ensco has bought Exostrategies, a Colorado Springs, Colorado-based space and intelligence program services provider, for an undisclosed sum and in line with its strategy to increase capabilities and offerings to aerospace and national security customers.
Boris Nejikovsky, president of Ensco, said in a statement published Friday Exostrategies’ services portfolio complements Ensco’s cybersecurity, data management, verification and validation, and systems engineering capabilities.
“With the acquisition, Ensco bolsters its ability to provide additional support to its existing customers and to expand its customer base by helping organizations mitigate risk and manage evolving threats to critical infrastructure and operations,” he added.
Nejikovsky also considers the acquisition as Ensco’s forward-thinking investment.
Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman provided assistance to Ensco while Exostrategies selected Oliver Investment Banking as its financial adviser for the transaction.
Exostrategies offers enterprise architecture management, agile risk management, project management, resource analysis and modeling and simulation services to space and intelligence communities. The U.S. Air Force and intelligence agencies are some of the users of Architexc, a cloud-based decision support tool designed by Exostrategies for architecture development and enterprise modernization.
