Nilanjan Sengupta Named Applied Intelligence CTO for Accenture Federal Arm

Nilanjan Sengupta, a managing director at Accenture (NYSE: ACN), has been promoted as chief technology officer of the applied intelligence practice within the company’s federal services subsidiary, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Friday.

He will be responsible for Accenture Federal Services’ convergence efforts in cloud computing, analytics, artificial intelligence and automation technology areas.

In his previous role, Sengupta led AI projects and managed the applied intelligence and enterprise architecture practices under AFS.

The technology industry veteran also founded mobile application developer Blue Eyes Innovation, which he also led as CEO, and the ExperChat digital marketplace, where he served as CTO.

Sengupta previously led enterprise architecture, research and development, engineering and business system groups at airline software provider ATPCO.
