By Light Gets DISA Bridge Contract for IT Engineering, Technical Services

A By Light Professional IT Services subsidiary has secured a potential one-year, $38.2M bridge contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to continue the provision of engineering and technical services in support of the Defense Information Systems Network.

Phacil will provide expertise and information technology services as part of the DISN Secure Systems Engineering and Evolution Support program, building on the company’s engineering support work for all gateways, layers and elements of DISN’s infrastructure since 2019, By Light said Tuesday.

The contractor will also support research, development, planning and implementation efforts for current and legacy IT platforms and capabilities used by DISA and the Department of Defense.

Jason Cole, a senior vice president at By Light, said the company seeks to help warfighters address their engineering and technical needs through the contract.

The award under the Encore III full and open contract has a base period of six months and comes with two three-month options.
