Lumen Wins $1.5B DISA Contract to Support Indo-Pacific Defense Telecom Infrastructure

Lumen Technologies’ (NYSE: LUMN) government arm has won a potential 10-year, $1.5 billion contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide end-to-end transmission capabilities and related services for the Defense Information System Network Indo-Pacific.

DISN Indo-Pacific serves as the Defense of Defense’s consolidated telecommunications infrastructure supporting U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s area of responsibility including Alaska, DOD said Tuesday.

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization received three offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and expects work to kick off by the end of August and run through Aug. 30, 2032.

Individual orders under the firm-fixed-price contract will be funded using defense working capital funds.
