Perspecta(NYSE: PRSP) has received a potential $797.3M extension to its Next Generation Enterprise Network contract from the U.S. Navy for network support, net centric data and other information technology support services.
The company will continue to provide information security, testing, voice, video and data services and enterprise support services for about 400K seats representing over 650K Navy and Marine Corps users at more than 2,500 sites under the modification to the $6.7B NGEN contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work will occur across the U.S. through Sept. 30, 2021, and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command will obligate funds upon award of individual task orders.
The modification will add four option periods to the base NGEN contract with a potential nine-month performance period should the service exercise all options.
