Rubrik Names Dave Wajsgras to Public Sector Advisory Board; Tom Kennedy Quoted

Dave Wajsgras, a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient and former president of intelligence, information and services (IIS) for the Raytheon company, has joined Rubrik's public advisory board.

“I am very excited to have Dave join our Advisory Board, as he brings an extraordinary perspective from his senior leadership position at one of the major federal integrators in the federal market.  Rubrik values its relationship and position with the federal integrators, and Dave will help us better understand and serve those integrators, as well as our federal end-user customers, that much better,” said Tom Kennedy, Rubrik’s VP of Public Sector.

Wajsgras joined Raytheon in March 2006 as senior vice president and chief financial officer, and served in that capacity until his promotion to president of IIS in March 2015. In the role, he directed Raytheon’s overall financial strategy and provided extensive financial and operational expertise.

He has two decades of experience as a senior executive who provided operational, strategic and financial leadership in both the commercial and defense industries. On the board, Wajsgras will serve alongside Yogesh Khanna, former Information Technology senior vice president and chief technology officer at General Dynamics, and Bruce Crawford, former chief information officer of the Army.

In his new role, Wajsgras will work with the company’s board members to identify how the company can best meet the needs of their public sector customers, prospects and technology ecosystem, including data protection, automation and cloud migration. The board will also help guide Rubrik in accelerating the digital transformation objectives of public sector agencies.

“Rubrik has been delivering leading edge technologies and capabilities to USG and Federal contractors. I’m eager to support Tom and the team in their mission to meaningfully expand market share with Rubrik’s best in class cloud-based data management platform,” Wajsgras said.
