Mike Pilon Named Valiant COO in Series of Exec Moves

Mike Pilon, formerly chief financial officer at government services contractor Valiant Integrated Services, has been named enterprise chief operating officer of the company in a string of senior leadership appointments.

He will oversee technology application, program operations and engineering services and help advance the company’s growth plan, Valiant said Friday.

Pilon previously served as CFO and administration officer at GardaWorld Federal Services prior to his move to Valiant. He also held finance leadership roles at AECOM (NYSE: ACM), BAE Systems and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).

Dan Corbett, a former vice president at PAE (Nasdaq: PAE), has joined Valiant as CFO to oversee finance, treasury, accounting, information technology and the company’s global excellence center. His career at PAE included time as VP of operations for the international logistics and stability business unit and CFO for the global logistics and stability operations unit.

Chris Bauer, a more than 25-year GovCon veteran and a previous Wash100 awardee, has been promoted to chief growth officer at Valiant. He will identify new growth opportunities for the company and further develop existing partnerships and client relationships in the newly created role. Bauer most recently served as senior VP and COO of Valiant’s national security and mission support division.
