Four suboffices within the DOE Office of Science support the funding opportunity announcement – which covers topics such as nuclear physics, biological and environmental research, advanced scientific computing and basic energy sciences — the department said Monday.
Specific areas of interest include high-performance computing, cybersecurity, emerging networks, detection technologies, subsurface energy capabilities, bioimaging and nuclear energy, according to the release document.
DOE is scheduled to issue the FOA release 2 on Nov. 9.
