He will succeed George Pedersen, the company’s co-founder who will continue to serve on the board as chairman emeritus, ManTech said Thursday.

Prior to assuming the CEO role in January 2018, Phillips served as president and chief operating officer. He joined ManTech in 2002 following the company’s acquisition of CTX. He is a member of the board and executive committee of the Professional Services Administration and the Aerospace Industries Association.
