SAIC Awarded TSA Test & Evaluation Support BPA

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been awarded a potential $40M blanket purchase agreement for operational test and evaluation services to the Transportation Security Administration.

SAIC will help the agency plan, implement, analyze and report airport operations, the agency said Thursday in a SAM notice.

Work includes testing support and data collection support for TSA's procurement program management, requirement analysis and security operation teams.

Northrop Lands $80M USAF Contract to Test Military Comm Tech via Commercial Space Internet Service

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured an $80.3 million sole-source contract to develop and demonstrate a communication system using military platforms and commercial space internet services. The company will help the service branch test system using common user terminal equipment under the Defense Experimentation Using Commercial Space Internet program, the Department of Defense said Friday.
