Ensco has released a new version of a toolset offering for aerospace system designers to create display graphics with human-machine interface to offer situational awareness for pilots.
Version 4.0 of the IData HMI Tool Suite allows developers to incorporate multitouch cockpit functions, OpenGL for Safety Critical applications and 2D or 3D digital maps into graphics design projects, the company said Thursday.
The product is designed to also support size, weight and power, compatibility and radiation hardening requirements for embedded environments.
Robert Sanders, vice president of Ensco’s avionics business, said the company partners with customers to help them innovate safety- and mission-critical systems. The IData HMI platform has supported avionics system developers over the past two decades, according to the company.
