CTS Promotes Mark Beran as Intel Community Program Manager; Theresa Keith Quoted

Counter Threat Solutions (CTS) has promoted Mark Beran, a media and communications expert, as program manager to supervise the company’s intelligence community contracts and personnel, CTS reported Monday. 

“Mark’s background spans program management, business development, marketing, media and broadcast production, corporate communications, and public relations, making him a versatile and valuable addition to the CTS management team,” said Theresa Keith, CEO of CTS.

Beran began his career at CTS in Aug. 2019, where he brought his deep experience in marketing, sales and program management executive with extensive knowledge in enterprise IT management; business development; strategic and corporate communications.  

Prior to joining the company, Beran served as senior account executive serving intel community clients with Microsoft. He also served as senior director and division manager of CACI’s integrated communications division for nearly two decades. 

At CACI, Beran was responsible for the performance of CACI Integrated Communications, a full-service media, advertising and IT enterprise solutions company serving federal government, corporations, associations and broadcasters. Under his leadership, the CACI division became the largest media production company in the Washington, D.C. metro region.

Beran is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as a Corpsman/8404 Field Medical Technician with the Marine Corps.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management from Bellevue University and has additional training in technical communications and broadcast engineering. 

He maintains certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and recently served on the executive advisory committee for George Mason University’s Simulation and Game Institute.
