CAE USA (NYSE: CAE) has been awarded an $89.7M contract from the U.S. Army to provide helicopter training services at Fort Rucker in Alabama, according to an award notice posted Monday.
The company will help the service train UH-60A/L, AH-64D and CH-47F helicopter operators.
Work supports the Army's aviation center of excellence that plans, coordinates and implements activities to address the aviation training needs across the branch.
The center offers four phases of initial rotary-wing training over a 32-week period, helping students to earn 179 flight instruction hours in aircraft and simulation platforms.
