Walker-Ford brings over 20 years of industry experience, including transportation systems and technology, aviation, transit, railway, tolling and procurement models including P3 and design/build projects. In her new role, she will help guide AECOM’s engagement with key clients in this critical market.

Most recently, Walker-Ford was VP at Cubic (NYSE: CUB) in charge of strategy and government affairs. She previously worked as deputy chief executive officer and executive VP at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. She also held executive positions at Parsons (NYSE: PSN), CH2M, Hill International and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).

Walker-Ford was also recently elected to serve as vice-chair of the Women’s Transportation Seminar international board and currently is vice-chair of the WTS foundation board.

She serves as a board trustee at Jacksonville University, chair of the American Public Transportation Foundation and chair and ENO transportation adviser for the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville.

“I am thrilled to join the AECOM transportation team at such an exciting time in our industry,” said Walker-Ford. “I am looking forward to contributing to what is already an industry-leading transportation team to build even stronger strategic relationships with our transportation clients in surface, transit, aviation and port industries.”
