T-Rex JV Buys Pinnacle’s IT Services Division

InnoVETive Solutions, a joint venture between T-Rex Solutions and CPMC, has bought Pinnacle Solutions’ information technology services division for an undisclosed sum as part of federal IT market push.

The deal offers InnoVETive an opporunity to pursue IT modernization contracts within the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Homeland Security, T-Rex said Monday.

“This acquisition expands our ability to compete for opportunities that line- up squarely with our core competencies and we look forward to applying our past successes to new government agencies as we help them solve their most difficult challenges,” said Jim Stevens, president and CEO of CPMC and an InnoVETive managing member.

T-Rex and CPMC established the two companies' venture as part of a mentor-protege arrangement. Both firms have worked through significant government programs such as the 2020 Census Technical Integrator Program.
