Robert McCord, former president and chief operating officer at Octo Consulting Group, has taken the same roles at Tysons, Va.-based health information technology contractor CNSI.

He brings nearly 30 years of business operations, knowledge and leadership experience as CNSI works to accelerate growth efforts, the company said Thursday.

Before he joined Octo in 2015, McCord worked at Acentia as president and COO prior to its acquisition by Maximus. He previously managed the health business units of Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and Parsons (NYSE: PSN).

"His experience serving federal, state and commercial healthcare markets will be invaluable to CNSI’s growth and execution focus,” said Todd Stottlemyer, CEO of CNSI and a 2019 Wash100 awardee.
