Alion Science and Technology has relocated to a newÂ global corporate headquartersÂ in McLean, Va., nearly 11 months after the company signed a lease agreement to occupy office space at the Boro Tower.
Steve Schorer, CEO ofÂ AlionÂ and formerÂ Wash100Â awardee, said in a statement released TuesdayÂ theÂ HQ facility represents the firmâs commitment to providingÂ technology platforms toÂ the defense and intelligence sectors.
The company hasÂ overÂ 55 locations nationwide andÂ supports customer missions worldwide.
Last month, Alion openedÂ itsÂ Prototyping, Integration and Acquisition Center in Patuxent River, Md., in a move to support the development of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems for Naval Air Systems Command.
Currently, there are more than 25 research facilities managed by Alion.
