Dynanet to Help OPM Implement Automated Containerization Platform

Jeff Brody

A joint venture that includes Dynanet has secured a contract to design, build and implement an automated system for the Office of Personnel Management to organize information technology applications.

The SVD Stars II JV will develop an IT environment with Red Hat‘s OpenShift container platform in an effort to help OPM’s Office of Chief Information Officer accelerate app development and software deployment processes, Dynanet said Thursday.

OpenShift is designed to support microservice level app calls that can accommodate transactions within a  distributed server environment.

Dynanet noted it is responsible for the project, which will involve efforts to increase the capacity of OPM’s IT infrastructure, support legacy app conversation to the container technology and maintain the agency app environment.

Other SVD Stars II stakeholders are Singhal & Co. and VersaTech.
