KBR to Provide Testing, Aircrew Under $81M NAVAIR Contract; Byron Bright Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 7, 2019 — KBR (NYSE: KBR) has received a five-year, $81M contract from the Naval Air Systems Command to conduct tests for manned and unmanned air vehicles as well as provide aviation staff for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 24.

The company will assess the equipment of the Naval Test Wing Atlantic and Pacific squadrons in addition to supplying flight instructors, weapons system operators, aircraft engineers and other aircrew to NAWCAD under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality contract, KBR said Sept 24.

Work under the five-year contract, which also has a six-month option, will take place in California and Maryland.
