TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 18, 2019 — KBR (NYSE: KBR) has secured a spot on the Defense Logistics Agency’s potential five-year, $124M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the delivery and installation of automated fuel systems, ExecutiveBiz reported July 9.

The company said July 8 it will compete with other companies to bid on individual task orders under the multi-award contract. In addition to providing all necessary materials, components and equipment for the fuel platforms, the terms of the contract also include manpower and supervision support.

“KBR has designed and constructed project installations of automated fuel systems across the globe for more than 12 years,” said Byron Bright, president of government solutions at KBR’s U.S. division.

He added the company will work with DLA in an effort to boost fuel inventory accountability and fuel monitoring and controls, as well as help prevent fuel spills.
