Telaforce Wins $153M in DOL Contracts for Employment Data Collection Support

The Department of Labor has awarded Telaforce three contracts potentially worth $153.3M combined to help DOL's Bureau of Labor Statistics collect and process employment data nationwide.

Telaforce won a potential $86.7M contract to support the Current Employment Statistics data collection center; a separate $49.2M award to provide data collection services for the Electronic Data Interchange Center; and another $17.2M contract to support the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey center.

According to a FedBizOpps notice, CES sought help desk services and support to manage monthly collection of data such as earnings, employment and hours from nonfarm entities. The EDI center helps collate such information in addition to processing large firms’ worksite reports and quarterly employment and wages data.

JOLTS required enrollment support for nonfarm respondents that will provide information such as job openings, separations and hiring data.

BLS used the "best value" tradeoff approach to evaluate and select bids for the firm-fixed-price contracts.

Telaforce is headquartered in Reston, Va, and offers cybersecurity, cloud computing, asset and device management, analytics, remote surveillance and help desk support services.
