Vertex Aerospace secured a potential five-year, $175.5M contract to help manage and maintain the Drug Enforcement Administration’s worldwide aircraft fleet.
DEA announced the Total Aviation Support Services contract award in a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday.
The presolicitation notice stated that the selected contractor would support program management, aircraft, flight simulators and avionics maintenance, training, logistical, inventory management and administrative functions of the DEA’s aviation division.
The agency may also require aircraft or equipment, pilot services and special operations support.
The contract has a one-year base period along with four one-year options.
