TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 6, 2019 — Rick Ambrose, executive vice president of Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE:  LMT) space business, has expressed the company’s support for collaboration and multinational participation in the push to advance capabilities in the space industry, ExecutiveBiz reported Jan. 30.

Ambrose, a 2019 Wash100 awardee, said in an interview aired Jan. 29 that Lockheed continues to work with NASA as the space agency seeks to establish a lunar gateway to send humans back to the Moon.

“We also invest where we see startups that have promising potential, such as Rocket Lab, which is a small launch vehicle, and Terran Orbital, which is a small satellite provider,” he told Yahoo Finance.
