Leidos, Sparton to Produce New Acoustic Device Countermeasure System for Navy Subs

TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 9, 2018 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has entered into a partnership with Sparton to help build an acoustic device countermeasure system that will work to protect U.S. Navy submarines from enemy torpedoes, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Sparton said Tuesday it will provide manufacturing services in support of Leidos’ contract to design, develop, integrate, test and produce the ADC MK5 as replacement for the Navy’s ADC MK3 system.
