CAE Unveils 360-Degree Virtual Platform for Fighter Pilot Training; Gene Colabatistto Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 20, 2018 — CAE (NYSE: CAE) has developed a simulation platform that works to train the pilots of military fighter and fast jets on formation, low-level flight, air-to-air refueling and target identification operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Oct. 23.

The company said Oct. 23 the CAE Medallion MR e-Series Visual System, which utilizes an immersive virtual environment with a 360-degree dome display system and laser projectors, will be featured at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Orlando from Nov. 26 to 29.

Gene Colabatistto, defense and security group president at CAE and a past Wash100 awardee, said the company developed the technology through an internal investment that sought to address customer needs and requirements.
