DHS Picks Five Contractors for DNDO Threat Detection R&D Efforts


TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 5, 2018 — The Department of Homeland Security has selected five companies to support research and development efforts on nuclear and radiological threat detection under separate contracts worth approximately $22.7M combined, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

DHS said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday that it has awarded $8.2M to Bubble Technology Industries, $4.7M to Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), $4.4M to Rapiscan Laboratories, $3.98M to Radiation Monitoring Devices and $1.4M to Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) to work with the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office on the project.
